If you've attended a Chrysalis or Journeys weekend, you know how powerful the presence of Christ can be in your life. Then the weekend was over and life returned to your normal routine. After some time back in reality you may have realized that the fire isn't burning quite as strong as it did when you first came home from your weekend.

Well, we have an answer for you! 

Dealing with life's daily struggles and temptations can be tough, even overwhelming. You need a Christian friend to listen and provide support. Walking the walk isn't as easy as talking the talk, so you also need someone to help keep you accountable.

The solution?  

A Chrysalis Share Group!!! What is a Share group you might ask? Well, do you remember the third day of your weekend when you received a little card folded in three parts with a butterfly on the front? That's it! Christ encourages us to be in fellowship with other Christians. The world doesn't understand your priorities as a Christian and encourages you to stray from your Christ-like life. Meeting with your share group weekly helps you stay focused. You also have the opportunity to develop friendships that will last into eternity!

How you become involved in a share group? 

We are glad you asked! Think about your Christian friends, from church, your youth group, school, Chrysalis, in your neighborhood. You can start with just two of you or ask four friends to join you. Participation on a Chrysalis weekend is not a requirement. It isn't about Chrysalis, it's about Christ! Find a time you can meet each week for about an hour. You could meet after school, at the coffee shop, local ice cream parlor, your home, your church, anywhere! The key is to be consistent and follow the questions on the share group card. Your share group will be there to help you focus on your walk with Christ, the areas you are strong and the areas you are weak.
